第一次學溜冰 First Skating Class

終於等到珀朗夠大個學溜冰！

經家禧媽咪提供資料，知道有聖誕班開第一時間報名！

Christmas skating 班比平時平少少。

Christmas skating class $550有4堂半小時。平時 $770有5堂半小時。

不過要預早15分鐘去攞鞋、著鞋同登記八達通上堂。

由其是我宜家大住個肚，幫佢穿鞋帶真係有難度。

上堂時由老師推住坐係櫈仔嘅小朋友去特定區域。

初時哥哥有些驚，因為唔識企。

一企起身對腳就"mark"開。

到老師教佢企時要拍埋雙腳佢就多好多信心做老師教佢嘅動作。

如企起身，舉手，推住張櫈行。

Class over 問佢鍾唔鍾意，佢都話要繼續學！(^-^)

同婆婆提過去坐船遊維多利亞港

佢又想去

趁暑假未完

終於帶左Gabriel去坐張保仔

佢係一隻舊式帆船

淨係個英文名都好聽過人

我地搭tuesday 2:30pm

大約2:20pm到尖沙咀1號碼頭

上到去上層冇冷氣

但海風好涼

俾Gabriel睇船梗係坐冇window啦!

45mins ride across the victoria harbor

坐左一陣冇人上船就駛過中環碼頭接人

點知中環又冇人上

正!!

包船!!!! Yippee!

我當日去接放學時佢見唔到mr.P

就喊晒口同我講：「Gabriel not yet take a photo!」

actually我都要諗一下先意會到佢講乜

於是我解釋俾佢聽要等爸爸得閒先同佢影

之後話俾mr.P聽

mr.P覺得好好笑

於是話會盡量抽時間去接BeBe

最後都安排到

去到學校見到珀朗送俾爸爸都覺好sweet!

珀朗戒片片記 Say NO to diapers!

Gabriel有d同學仔係上年未凍之前已經介左片片

今年見開始天氣暖於是決定係上個月同Gabriel戒片

first step一定係由白天開始

其實佢係屋企年頭(2、3月)已經冇著diapers

但礙於佢出街時冇定時poo poo

有時一食飽d就即刻poo poo係diaper度

我們為免麻煩
先等佢識講要去poo poo同開始識忍住唔即時去

我地先放心同佢唔著diaper淨係著brief仔去街

頭段日子兩日出街有一次忍唔住濕左

所以一定帶2-3條褲出街

後來發現有時會濕透

仲會濕埋對襪同鞋

於是係daddy car car會放定對crocs

做好preparation

仲要keep住remind佢: "Do you need to go wee wee?"

驚佢係街忘形得滯唔記得去toilet

之後見進展良好就同學校講Gabriel返學唔著Huggies學習褲而係介片褲

又麻煩工友嬸嬸帶佢去廁所

淨係午睡著番片片

放學我同佢去哨街又點搞?

去到街我又怕自己一個人同佢去d 污漕廁所

於是放學時我同Gabriel係學校臨走時去左toilet先

咁佢就可以捱到返屋企先wee wee la!

晚上瞓覺就要同佢講reminders

"Don't wet your bed! Remember to go toilet when you wanna wee wee, okay?"

Train到佢自己都識recite番就okay la

我地係見mr.P去Washington出trip就幫佢介night time diaper

之前知道可以start

係見有時條overnight diaper冇濕過

就知道係right timing...(當然加上天氣回暖la!)

如是者係街去poo poo少左

因我地每日定時早晚兩次會放佢去sit potty

等佢養成習慣

初時after school同佢去哨街時會同我講"stomachache, mami!"=急要去大大

於是我答佢,"We'll go home now,can you wait until we get home?"

咁我地就急急腳去搭車返家.....

過左2-3 weeks, Gabriel開始有internal body clock係早晚去poo poo

我就放心好多

但in between係weekend去街都有episodes係中午after lunch go poo poo

可能因為去街食得多d

條腸hold唔嗮要clear up d stock ("-"|||)

而Daddy就好怕帶佢係街去toilet

本身mr.P就有潔癖

自己甚少去街嘅toilet

所以bring Gabby along is simply hard for him

於是Daddy就成日"哦"我要快d train up Gabriel係屋企poo poo

有時佢話急都盡量叫佢忍到返屋企

人地得嗰3歲細佬仔....點忍到吖?

真係激死人啦!

宜家3個月

放低佢返教會自己上主日學都識去toilet

終於叫fully complete左啦!

粉嶺香薰園親子遊

粉嶺有個啱一家大細去的地方又可以影薰衣草園靚相

於是揀左long weekend的星期日去

多人到要交通警黎疏導!!

係老遠

所以mr.P揸到入去都多人又多車

好在個site夠大

又多地方消遣

有釣魚,餵魚,日式捉金魚,BBQ,整香薰candles,farming....

但我地冇諗住BBQ,於是影完相就走啦

下次少d人先黎BBQ啦!

Today is the big day of Gabriel....coz it's his first day of school!!

a milestone for him, definitely, and surely one for us too

my baby boy is now going to school....

and soon he's gonna.....do lots on his own

can't imagine that he's already going to school~

so soon.....

i remember miss Vi-n said, "very soon, your boy will be walking and doing thing on his own"

i remember when Gabriel was 4-5 months, i envied little Jeffrey doing lots on his own...

now he no longer need me to carry him in my arms...

he can play on his own...

and he's going to school by himself, so very soon...

i know i'm gonna miss him holding onto my hands and call "mami, mami..." when he can't see me around~~~~

these few weeks i'm like a sushi-holic
every time mr. P asked me what i'd like to eat
i told him----SUSHI please!

this time we went out during tea time
and i think it's the best time to go to eat itacho sushi coz it was the time least ppl would line up

we ordered quite a few plates

but i still miss Genki sushi's le petit scallops and spicy tuna sushi more

still wanna have more sushi this coming week!!

ps. wat did Gabriel eat? he just ate the crab meat steamed egg
and kept on smiling at the pedestrians outside the restaurant...this kept him entertained for the whole "Late" lunch~

i'm waiting....
even i signed up for it before with Smartone, i still have to wait until next friday to get it

they asked ppl who are interested to sign up yesterday after 2pm online
and it took me sooooo long to successfully load the screen and proceed with the booking

2:33pm i finally got it processed

and i'm only 33minutes late and i have to wait a week! gees~~~~~
....

the other day i found myself shopping in the wet market for some dessert after dinner

i got the huge mango from taiwan @ $15 each

the grass jelly cost $5 per catty

and i dunno why i asked the lady to cut a huge block........

it was so huge that i ended up paying $17 for the grass jelly (approx. 3 catty)

after we got home and cut the grass jelly into cubes

mr. P said it's enough for serving customers in dessert restaurant

that nite, including the maids

6 adults and gabriel couldn't finish the giant bowl of grass jelly and the mango

i think next time i would just buy 1 catty of grass jelly

and a smaller mango

but like the vendor guranteed, it's sweet and juicy~

ps. a small carlton of coconut milk plus the taikoo syrup makes the dish so delicious!

This morning Defola found out that Gabriel has lots of red spots on his tummy
so we took him to dr. Har for consultation

and she diagnosed him as food allergy...normal rash
wat a relieve!

Since Por Por insisted in taking the train
so instead of riding taxi home
we took the MTR

Gabby hasn't ride the train for some time
he liked the ride back home

after arriving @ the mall,
we went to catch some lunch at the fast food restaurant near the skating rink

Gabby was so tired after walking for a long while
and felt asleep when he was eating~~

i had to carry him back home from the skating rink

he was sooooo darn heavy!

Gabriel went to Orientation day at the nursery on last saturday

he loved it so much

doing crafts and playing with the toys there

he could spend the whole day there without complains

and we got his uniforms so he could wear them to school next month when school starts

since me and mr. P hadn't go to a movie for a long time

i decided it's time to go to the theatre with him and also bring Gabriel along

wat better movie is to bring Gabriel to see than Toy Story?

i bought the tickets at the cinema downstairs

so i could just finish feeding Jayden and go to the movie in a snap of fingers

and come back to feed him in time

because we hadn't take Gabriel to movie before and we don't know if he

could stand sitting for 2 hours straight in such a dark and quiet place

so i asked devola to wait for my call in case Gabriel needs to be brought back up to the house

and?................

it turned out just fine

he saw the WHOLE movie

whoow!!

never imagine Gabriel, such an energetic and impatient boy, could sit through the 2 hours movie!

IT IS just GREAT!

we can bring him to movie some other time

and need not to worry he will yell "go ah, go ah~~" like that

way to go, Gabby!

ps. he just couldn't wear the 3D glasses coz they're way too big for him
and now whenever he sees the Toy story commercials, he would yell, "Toy Story, Toy Story!!"

We held the 100 days party at our clubhouse

It was a wonderful afternoon...

we had catering from Qualifresh

it was a friend of Nixon's and their food was good

he also gave us some delicious wild berries juice and pear chrysanthemum tea

i made 2 banner myself........

one is with plain flower background

the other is with rilakkuma

the letterings on the flower banner was hand-made with silk ribbons

that spelled out "Happy Birthday Jayden"

The gift was put in a paper bag with Jayden's post card attached with a hand-made clip

with the name of the guests written on them

It was good that we had the party at the club house

coz kids can play at the playground inside the club house

since i lack computer knowledge
the guy told me the resolution is not enough for producing a big banner

and i had to all the way back home from mong kok to do another draft for the banner

it was really hard for me~

and Jayden was calling for milk.......

Sunday breakfast: 太興

since Gabriel woke up early and mr. P was disturbed by him this morning
we are going out for breaskfast earlier so we get to go to Tai Hing for breakfast

guess lots of people wake up early and we needed to queue up for a table

Gabriel and I would always go out to buy some veggies and bread

when we waited for our food to be served
today we got the macao style bread-crumbs pudding for dessert tonite at Gong Gong's house

and when we passed by the bakery

Gabriel laughed hysterically at the birds outside the shop
the shop keepers laughed at Gabriel's weird laughs

so he laughed even harder after the ladies' comments

Nightmare is here again!

the boys are once again sick....
Dr. Lee said Gabriel has white spots in his tonsil area
so prescribe him with antibiotics and singulair so that he can recover soon

and little Jayden is sick also
he just got his 6 in 1 infanrix shot
cough and can hear his nose have lots of mucus inside

he had trouble sleeping and woke up twice last nite....
when we hold him he keep on struggling and once we put him back on his bed, he fell back to sleep

i just hope they recover soon coz tomorrow is holiday!

so by the time he came back was already past 8pm
we could only go to Whampoa for a quickie

the one i wanted to eat "CHung House" was fully booked...
i was silly to worried that it was going out of biz...
then we went to Watami
past 8:30pm and still line up for table

any way it was lucky we went in line as three
easier to get a table this way

i found out that Gabby loves to eat the Japanese style pizza

he kept on asking for in " p-i-z-z-a, p-i-z-z-a...."

i find this one quite yellow tone and relatively thick

good for coverage but not smooth enough

Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk Foundation

This is like all the hype about it

to me is not so suitable

good coverage, glides on effortlessly

but not dewy enough

Dior Diorskin Pure Light Foundation

quite thin and glides on smooth

it's dewy but does not give the glow to the skin

Make Up Forever Face & Body Liquid Makeup

i love this one as it glides on smoothly

high in water, thin but it also gives a little bit of coverage if u layer it

gives glow to the skin

but i heard on the web that some say it's high in mercury

so i stopped using it

Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation

gel water type foundation

my ALL time Favourite!!!

i've bought so many cans of this foundation

truly dewy, smooth and you'll just look fantastic in this foundation

gives you glow from within after wearing it for a few minutes

but...

don't expect it will cover any flaws that you have

if you've got good skin...(not much pimples/marks), you'll give it a crown!!

no matter how many new foundations i buy

i'll always keep one jar on the vanity table!

one of my favourite

but i haven't used it for many time because i got the wrong color

too pale for my skin

so it's like it has essence in the foundation

good coverage, dewy and glides on so smoothly

would be great if you're using it's foundation base too

Paul & Joe Foundation (green cover)

Summer type

but it's creamy and has good keep for sweat and heat

i love the glow it gives me as it has tiny coloring pigments in the foundation

i like this one as it's thin and easy to apply

some coverage but not as dewy as the green cover one

i expect if i also get their foundation base it would be a perfect pair!

Cle de peau Cream foundation (right)

i love this one

another must buy

now it's in a tube so it's even better

as i hate the old version will easily be contaminated with open cover

very good coverage and glides on smoothly

dewy but sometimes it would give one an illusion that you are really putting on "make up"

so i would suggest for an evening out or for special occassion

i would prefer the fluid foundation over this one

even though it has light-reflecting pigments in the foundation itself

it's thicker than the fluid one

good coverage, glides on good but very makeup look~

First, it was Gabriel who got sick from 3 weeks ago....

then he passed it to me....
and then i passed it to Baby Jayden

it was just terrible

a baby so small as Baby Jayden (almost 2 months old when he got sick) can get so sick....

cough and cough...a never ending story

truly a nightmare for any mother, especially a new born

some dr say there's hardly any medicine for new born

cough, cannot give him cough remedies

runny nose, cannot give him decongestant

so what am i gonna do?

i took him to see a paediatrician @ Union hospital on Saturday

then to dr. Wan afterwards....it was almost 2 weeks before Baby Jayden's cough started to subside

even i went on antibiotic course for 2 times before my sputum got a little bit clearer

Augmentin, then Zinnat

Gabriel also had to take Zithromax and Zinnat suspension too

but Baby Jayden could not take the antibiotic jab and as Dr. Wan diagnosed, he needed not to get a jab

and until this week's tuesday, he started not having serious coughing during the nite

oh.....wat a relieve~

as my mom said, there are just many more episodes like this to come, and i couldn't be more uptight about this

this is just the first taste....

Baby Jayden & Gabriel: the conflict between them

Now Jayden is 7 weeks old and Gabriel always go and hit Baby Jayden when our attention is on the baby.

It's so difficult in teaching Gabriel not to hit his little brother.......

Gabriel loves to go near Baby Jayden but has a hard time not to mess around baby's clothes, baby's pillow or even from pulling baby's hair....

we cannot block Gabriel from playing with his little brother
but this second we tell Gabriel don't hit his brother
the next second he already put out his arm and hit his brother's forehead with a toy

Against all the protests and no-nos from my family, i permed my hair finally...

it's understandable why they are against it...coz i'm breastfeeding Little Jayden still....

but i could no longer stand my messy messy messy hairdo

and i purposefully told Chris, the hair stylist, that i only have soooo little time to perm...

it still ended up going over the time i had in mind

i arrived at the salon 3:30pm sharp

i went out of the salon 6:10pm

my deadline was 5:45pm

when i got home, Baby Jayden was still sleeping, but my breast were so engorged...

well, anyhow, i perm my hair and it made me feel so much better....

i guess after labouring, lots of women went into depression because they have so many "Can't do"s in their lives

i just helped myself stepping away from post-partum depression with doing what i really want to do.......

it's not too much to ask for, is it?

Since last Christmas hair cut, I hadn't got any chance to give my hair a trim

And after almost 5 months now, my hair is growing out of shape...some curl out and some curl in...NUTS!

I'm so desperate for a trim!!!!

since i'm breastfeeding directly, the time in between 2 feeds is only less than 2 hours...

i wonder if my hairstylist can make it on time~~

the 2 hours includes travelling time toooooo

see how tight the schedule is now? almost impossible

and i would prefer not to go downstair to Beijing @ elements to have the cut
if that's the case, i could probably make it to feed baby on time....

Tired from breastfeeding

last nite, Panda BB woke up almost every 2 hours for feed.....

so tired

breastfeeding is really tiring and frustrating

i tried to feed him one side but that side's flow is so fast that it comes out in jets and he refuses to take on that particular side

maybe too fast for him to swallow...

and my maid, together with my mom are taking Gabriel to music lesson so no one is there to look after baby Panda while i tried to find some rest

but i guess i do enjoy bb feeding directly instead of pumping out to feed him in bottle like i did last time with Gabriel

just need to continue doing this amazing thing for Panda BB coz i gave Gabriel breast milk for 10.5 months

my short term goal is one whole month!!

Baby is born! Part 2

continue from Part 1......

and i thought riding an ambulance to the hospital is urgent biz but it turned out quite the opposite....

the usual drive mr. P took is about 10mins to arrive Union Hospital but the ambulance took 20mins to get there....

it was slow

it was not ringing a siren

and to my surprise, it had to STOP to pay at the tunnel shroff, how ridiculous!!!!!!!!

and i had like 3 more contractions before getting to Tai Wai

to get more ridiculous, mr. P and the driver thought the opposite direction is the right way we were heading!!!

luckily i could still tell the direction in such a terrible state of mind~

it was ME who told them they went the opposite way!!

so it wasn't a smooth sail to the hospital and we finally we got there after 2 more contractions.....

when we arrived at Union, dr. Yip was already all dressed up in gowns ready for taking me in, waiting at the front door of the hospital

i was relieved to see him and the paramedics took me to the diagnosis room just to see if i was sooo urgent to labour there

so dr. Yip asked me if i had the urge to push again inside the room but it wasn't the case and they thought they better take me up to the labour room

there, they rushed me to the lift to get upstairs but the lift was stuck at upper floors and i had another terrible contraction and felt like labouring on the hallway

the nurse told me to keep my legs straight and hold my breath...it felt better as i did what she told me

and it felt like a century has passed before the elevator door opened before us

they kept on telling me that we were almost there and i just need to pull myself together

finally----the door swung open on 3rd floor and they hurried me inside the room and quickly sanitised me as dr. Yip swiftly put on his gloves

he then asked me to push, and so i pushed for the 1st time ---they said the baby's head is out

and then he asked me to push the 2nd time ---- and so i did while asking me again to push a little harder for baby's whole body to come out and so i PUSHED HARD

viola~~~~ i heard my baby's first cry and the nurse said, "here, can u tell me what sex of your baby is?"

i joyfully replied, "a boy!"

there, from 10am (breaking of my water) to 11am sharp, i had a very "memorable" and QUICK labour

and i was still in my going out clothes when i laboured.....(not enough time to change into hospital gown)

mr. P said...."like i've told you long time ago, pregnant women should be staying in the hospital few days before due date...."and

"this is exactly like TV drama but i never expect it to happen to me!!"

Just to update all of you:

My second prince is born!!

It's so hard for me to write the blog in chinese as i have so little time available for surfing the web or for myself so to speak....

so here's the details:

On Saturday, April 10....

that mid-nite i experienced some cramps in the stomach but that didn't last for more than 3 times, so as the doc have said...if not progressively stronger or closer the frequency, i can just ignore it as pre-labour pain...

so i kept on sleeping till morning and when i went to the toilet, i felt a strong sense of pushing downwards from in the lower abdomen, but i didn't pay particular attention to it and woke up to play with Gabriel

around 9am i went to the toilet again and this time the urge of pushing downward was so strong that i had to hold my breath to stop that feeling (and my heart beat went really fast this time).

since the pain was quite bad i asked mr. P if i should go back to doc's office or just go to the hospital

he said if this continues and get progressively more intense, then we'll just head straight to the hospital

and after putting Gabriel to sleep around 10am, i went to pee again and this time, the pushing down feeling was not a JOKE!

i had concentrate to hold my breath in order to stand up from the toilet bowl...and once i stood up completely-----there--------> i felt water came gushing down my legs.......

gosh!!!! my water just broke!!!!

i cried for help, but mr. P closed the living room door and i had to scrambled to the glass door to signal for help

mr. P saw me in pain and asked our maid to help me change for going out

and then i saw red tooooooo

when i went in to change clothes...the first contraction came in and it felt strong....

i had to concentrate to stop myself from pushing...

i told Defola to ask mr. P if we were ready to leave the house but he was still waiting for concierge to call us a taxi

so instead of waiting in the house, we headed straight outside but it was hard for me to stand up straight as the urge downward was SOOOOO strong that i had to lie down on the corridor to wait for the lift and also inside the lift itself...i think i scared the heck out of the little girl in the lift~ but who could care more about her back then..

as the lift arrived 3rd floor, i could hardly move myself out of the lift because i just feel like going into labour any minute now

the concierge people and mr. P moved me out of the lift and had me lie down on the sofa to wait for the taxi

it felt like 10 mins before the taxi could come directly outside the concierge door

but i told them i couldn't even move without someone lifting me up

because of my condition, the concierge people suggested we call the ambulance instead, so mr. P said we will then wait for the ambulance to come

and it felt like a 3 hours before the ambulance and the guys could come and arrange the trolley to take me out of the lobby

oh my......i had like 5 contractions already and any minute i could give birth rite then~

then the ambulance crew suggested we go to QE but we already asked Dr. yip to wait for us in Union Hospital

and it was a debate before we could finally settle for going to Union Hospital (why? because i had a few more severe contraction and i thought i had to labour right there on the ambulance)

痛到心跳加速
last左分零鐘
但冇再有second episode
之後起身發覺下身好墜好重
但冇見紅就冇理佢

之後去埋銅鑼灣向日葵攞訂左的4期Bea's Up
跟住去耐紅森林食我至愛的冬蔭公肥牛飯 (平時食拉麵,今日好餓食飯)

點知返到鋪頭去toilet發現mucus plug
好驚呀!

就係係Venetian酒店附近行下
因為要match番下午搭package included係酒店附近的金光飛翔船返香港

係出發前mr.P睇到酒店tv播介紹澳門的short film
介紹原著民的居住環境museum

於是係Cafe Deco食完free的洒店breakfast buffet就決定去影下相

但我就問佢點解上個星期對比前個星期都係重得1oz(得6lbs5oz)
依個禮拜就重11oz咁犀利?
佢先話可能係BB頭仔已經非常之落到盤骨
所以可能冇咁準喎~

Dr. Yip仲問我有冇痛多左
我就話俾佢聽前兩晚個肚硬到痛醒我
之後一個鐘又再痛多次
不過就冇第3次啦

佢叫我如果連續性痛有一個鐘一次的話就好入院啦
唔好照封入院信話等到15分鐘一次先入
對第ニ胎黎講會太遲

mr.P問我Dr. Yip今次有冇講我胎盤老化到第幾個stage
我話佢今次冇
照完淨係話"快架啦,執好晒野未呀?"
同話"下次book住1星期後先,睇下我地係診所見定醫院見啦~"

搞到我呢兩晚都瞓唔好

last week做左Group B streptococcus culture test
今次番左test result話冇事

Dr. Yip remind我如果見見紅穿水陣痛的話
一定要即刻入院
因為呢胎係第ニ胎
產情係會比上次短好多

咁我就問其實最常見係邊樣呢?
佢話其實通常係見紅先...之後陣痛, 最少見係穿水
因為睇外國的書講笑咁話佢地驚穿水會帶定jar pickles
如果穿水就打爛樽pickles
避免embarrassment wor~
